The team at Very Brambleberry would like to wish you all a marvellous, wonderful and fantastic New Year. May 2017 be everything you wanted and bring everything you wished for!
2017 is set to be an exciting year for us at Very Brambleberry. Alexandra is working on illustrations for the next book, ‘Bianca: The Greatest Spy Mouse There Ever Was,’ based on the story of Australian WWII hero, Nancy Wake and due for release in the middle of the year.
Genevieve has finished her research for the final book in the ‘War Heroes,’ series of the ‘Tales from Brambleberry Farm’ collection. ‘The Tale of Two Mice,’ follows the story of how William and Bianca meet, based on real events and people in France and the UK during WWII.
We are also very excited to announce that Very Brambleberry is producing a William Brambleberry soft toy, which will be available in March at the Australian War Memorial, Cockington Green, the Station Shops in Bungendore and other retail stores. If you are interested in stocking William Brambleberry toys, please get in touch with Genevieve. You will also be able to purchase directly from the Very Brambleberry online store. As with the books, 10% of all Very Brambleberry profits will be donated to Soldier On.
Deep thanks to the wonderful Jan Johnco from Elka Australia who has worked so hard to turn Alex’s beautiful William Brambleberry illustrations into a gorgeous toy, and who supported and encouraged Genevieve the whole step of the way. Thanks also to the Australian War Memorial for your support and help in making this dream come true.
2017 is shaping up to be a busy and exciting year for Very Brambleberry. We’ll be sure to keep you posted so stay tuned!
